Editorial and Peer-Review Policy
Journal of Cancer Research and Reviews is committed to maintaining high standards of academic quality and integrity through a rigorous and transparent peer-review process.
🔍 Peer-Review Process
Peer-Review Model
The journal follows a double-blind peer-review process, in which both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other to ensure unbiased evaluation.
Reviewer Assignment
-
After initial editorial screening, each manuscript is assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers.
-
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and experience in the relevant field.
-
All review reports are treated as confidential.
📊 Review Process and Evaluation
-
All research articles are evaluated for scientific quality, originality, relevance, and clarity.
-
Reviewers are typically given up to 21 days to complete their evaluation.
-
If a reviewer does not respond within the given timeframe, an alternative reviewer may be assigned.
📧 Communication with Authors
-
The corresponding author is notified once reviewer comments are received.
-
Reviewer comments, along with editorial feedback, are shared with the author.
-
Authors are required to submit a revised manuscript addressing all comments within three weeks.
Failure to submit revisions within the specified timeframe may result in the manuscript being considered withdrawn or rejected.
🔄 Revised Manuscripts
Revised submissions may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation, depending on the extent of revisions required.
⚖️ Editorial Decision
The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection of a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned editorial board member, based on reviewer recommendations and editorial judgment.
⏱️ Review Timeline
Under normal circumstances, the peer-review process—from submission to final decision—takes approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the responsiveness of authors.
